I loved 101 American foods from the moment I saw you started with desserts. My sentiments exactly! I will certainly recommend this book to European friends visiting the US. I was glad to see a long description of brownies, which is one of the few American dishes all my friends here in Seville, Spain, really like. I made it for a party yesterday, the kick-off to Seville’s huge Semana Santa celebration. And even though in my haste I took the brownies out too soon, and they were squishy even by my standards, everyone raved and asked for seconds and thirds. Some foods are truly international.
