Some of you may have noticed this nifty little icon on the right side of my blog. It will be there for all of November as I participate in Nanowrimo – National Novel Writing Month. Participants will try to write 50,000 words (~175 pages) in 30 days (Nov. 1-30). You still have time to join, and it’s a great exercise for creative writing! It’s about quantity, not quality, anyway.
I am working on a totally new story that I hadn’t written about before to try and get the real sense of what it means to do that many words in such a short time…wish me luck. I’m at 3,200 words already.
I’ll be heading to Torino tomorrow (home of 2006 Winter Olympics if you didn’t know) and hopefully meeting up with some other expats and we’ll do some ethnic food shopping.
Well, seems like the American people have spoken and W’s not doing too well in their eyes.
I have to give notice today. Should be interesting.

Did you go with Gia-Gina to the ethnic market? Fun! Was it a good market? Find anything really tasty?
