It is an auction of individually created-designed Christmas trees, with proceeds benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis organization in Italy.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Location<\/strong>: Milano &#8211; Palazzo Reale, Sala delle cariatidi<\/li>\n<li><strong>Website<\/strong>: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ilnataledei100alberidautore.net\/\">Il Natale dei 100 alberi d&#8217;autore<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>December 1 &#8211; 9, Saturday &#8211; Sunday (next)<\/h5>\n<p><strong>L&#8217;Artigiano in Fiera &#8211; The Artisan Fair<\/strong><br \/>\nOne of my favorite events of the year, I spend hours <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msadventuresinitaly.com\/blog\/2006\/12\/09\/saturday-photo-scavenger-hunt-red\/\">looking at foodstuffs<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msadventuresinitaly.com\/blog\/2006\/12\/05\/give-them-a-hand-for-using-their-hands\/\">watching craftmakers<\/a>, and looking for gifts. It&#8217;s where I collect most of the ingredients for my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msadventuresinitaly.com\/blog\/2006\/12\/18\/new-additions-to-the-artigianale-basket-for-a-menu-for-hope\/\">Menu for Hope basket<\/a> (which I hope to repeat this year). They only recently called off the strike yesterday, so for now opening night is saved!<\/p>\n<h5>December 7-8-9, Friday &#8211; Sunday<\/h5>\n<p><strong>Fiera dei Obej Obej &#8211; Oh Bej Oh Bej &#8211; O bei O bei<\/strong><br \/>\nI&#8217;ve never seen so many different spellings (pronounced &#8211; oh-BAY) This festival used to be on and around the grounds of the ancient church of Sant&#8217;Ambrogio, but in 2006 it was moved to the Castello Sforzesco grounds which are much larger and good for crowds.
