Don&#8217;t envy us though, now we have no holidays (other than summer) until November!! June 2 had the <em>sfiga<\/em> to be on a Saturday this year. <\/p>\n<p>I hope you&#8217;re reading this with two of my favorites, the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.msadventuresinitaly.com\/blog\/2006\/10\/18\/the-magic-of-the-marocchino\/\">Marocchino<\/a><\/strong>, and a thick slice of <em>pane<\/em> and <strong>Nutella<\/strong> (remember <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msadventuresinitaly.com\/blog\/2007\/02\/07\/world-nutella-day-round-up\/\">World Nutella Day<\/a>?), a hearty breakfast to push you through to the weekend. <\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/msadventuresinitaly\/414678144\/\" title=\"Photo Sharing\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm1.static.flickr.com\/184\/414678144_6cdd12500e.jpg?resize=375%2C500\" width=\"375\" height=\"500\" alt=\"Nutella and a Marocchino, a Perfect Pairing\" \/><\/a>\n<\/p>\n<p>Some notable news: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>[Music] <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pandora.com\">Pandora<\/a>, my favorite internet radio of months recent, decided to <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/1\/hi\/technology\/6619919.stm\">block all non-U.S. users<\/a><\/strong> so all my hard work and personal stations are *poof* Wah! I had my <strong>Ella\/Dinah\/Sarah\/Nina, Flamenco, 70s Funk and Vocal House<\/strong> stations just where I wanted them. I&#8217;m playing around with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.last.fm\">Last.fm<\/a>, but so far it seems like I have a lot less control than with Pandora. They suggested Bonnie Raitt when I put in Dinah Washington and Janis when I put in Ella!! Sob. <strong>Can anyone help<\/strong>? <\/li>\n<li>[Map-Gadget] I found a good way to me to memorize Milan&#8217;s layout &#8211; get the flyswatter in the shape of Milan.<\/li>\n<li>[Alitalia and all] <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessweek.com\/ap\/financialnews\/D8OSUTDO3.htm\">Another strike<\/a> today &#8211; Michelle will tell you more about the <a href=\"http:\/\/michellanea.blogspot.com\/2007\/05\/bionda.html\">multitude of strikes today in Italy<\/a>. I&#8217;ve had a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msadventuresinitaly.com\/blog\/2007\/03\/01\/alitalia-as-ruler-of-my-destiny\/\">fabulous experience with Alitalia<\/a>, as you know. Does anyone think this will affect their attractiveness in this so-called buyout?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And in <strong>small news<\/strong>, with absolutely <em>no other intended meanings whatsoever<\/em>,  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seriouseats.com\/required_eating\/2007\/05\/danny-devitos-limoncello.html\">Danny DeVito has his own brand of limoncello<\/a> complete with horrendous jingle on the website &#8211; my favorite line is about him being famous. Danny DeVito is actually one of the few celebrities I&#8217;ve met, along with Rhea and Woody that evening. Yes, he&#8217;s that short. He needs a good copywriter &#8211; Cent&#8217;Anni! <\/p>\n<p>I was featured on Deb&#8217;s Writer&#8217;s Row &#8220;<strong>Pay it Forward Tuesday<\/strong>&#8221; this week, so I&#8217;m paying it forward myself and mentioning someone new to me &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/lacucinadiadina.blogspot.com\/\">La Cucina di Adina<\/a> (in Italian), since I met Elena two days ago and her food pictures are excellent! <\/p>\n<p>Since I included some music last week, here&#8217;s another band that I&#8217;m really enjoying: <strong>Feist<\/strong>, aka <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Leslie_Feist\">Leslie Feist<\/a>. Her creative videos are getting almost as much acclaim as her songs! Her third album (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Reminder-Feist\/dp\/B000NPE7YC\/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1\/103-8222710-6025421?ie=UTF8&#038;s=music&#038;qid=1178258356&#038;sr=8-1\">The Reminder<\/a>) just came out a few days ago, but I can attest that the second album, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Let-Die-Feist\/dp\/B0008KLVW8\/ref=pd_bxgy_m_img_b\/103-8222710-6025421\">Let it Die<\/a>, is excellent!! Official site &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myspace.com\/feist\">MySpace<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the video for <strong>Mushaboom<\/strong> from <strong>Let it Die<\/strong> &#8211; one of my favorite songs from that album was &#8220;Gatekeeper&#8221; but I can&#8217;t seem to find the official video for that: <\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n<object width=\"425\" height=\"350\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/IQDpy_e5yhg\"><\/param><param name=\"wmode\" value=\"transparent\"><\/param><\/object>\n<\/p>\n<p>Also, a video from the new album Reminder, called <strong>1-2-3-4<\/strong> which is getting a lot of buzz because it was shot in a single take (and it uses human dominoes!) as was the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lp6_mt7XRtg\">video for My Moon My Man<\/a> (which I think is a better song)<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n<object width=\"425\" height=\"350\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/p8Z-DIAthbM\"><\/param><param name=\"wmode\" value=\"transparent\"><\/param><\/object>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>I have some cooking ambition this weekend &#8211; what about you? <\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Friday already??
