You have until May 1st!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I figure we needed a post with Americans speaking Italian and Mexicans playing Flamenco music.<\/p>\n<p>From <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.nicolamattina.it\/?p=414\">Nicola Mattina&#8217;s blog<\/a>, comes from the video from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msadventuresinitaly.com\/blog\/2007\/04\/02\/girl-geek-dinner-italia-recap\/\">Girl Geek Dinner late last month<\/a>. I got pretty flustered speaking on camera and made one huge mistake (&#8220;approciato&#8221; is not a word&#8230;doh!! Sue me, I was nervous) but I liked seeing what the end result was. If you really want to see me, or rather, just my nose as it was quite dark in there, I&#8217;m at 7:00 holding the microphone, and speaking at 8:35 and 10:15. <\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n<p>This is my latest favorite group, Rodrigo y Gabriela &#8211; this album keeps me busy at work and makes me want to dance when I&#8217;m at home. <\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n<p>You can find out more about them on <a href=\"http:\/\/rodgab.com\/\">their website<\/a>, listen to four songs on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myspace.com\/rodrigoygabriela\">Rodrigo y Gabriela Myspace page<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/results?search_query=rodrigo+gabriela&#038;search=Search\">watch more videos of them on You Tube<\/a>, or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Rodrigo-y-Gabriela-Bonus-DVD\/dp\/B000HKDEE2\">buy their album directly from Amazon<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Some other reading and viewing for you:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Check out these pictures of Naples: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.repubblica.it\/2006\/08\/gallerie\/spettacoliecultura\/foto-napoli\/foto-napoli.html\">Napoli, la memoria della citta&#8217;<\/a> &#8211; it&#8217;s almost impossible to tell in what time period these pictures were taken, though they are recent.<\/li>\n<li>Food and Wine.com is having a photo contest &#8211; and it&#8217;s all about travel (and food) &#8211; you could be featured in their print mag and win a phone! You have to enter your photo by the end of May!<\/li>\n<li>Deidre&#8217;s got a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beginningwithi.com\/italy\/lang\/tantiauguri.html\">fun video of an Italian song<\/a> that had my whole office singing when I played. &#8220;<strong>Quanto e&#8217; bello fare l&#8217;amore da Trieste in giu&#8217;!<\/strong>&#8221; <\/li>\n<li>Have you heard how they are trying to <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/news\/opinion\/la-oe-may19apr19,0,4511657.story?coll=la-opinion-center\">change the way chocolate is defined in the US<\/a>?<\/strong> Get <a href=\"http:\/\/dontmesswithourchocolate.guittard.com\/\">in on the discussion<\/a>, and send your comments to the FDA!<\/li>\n<li>I can&#8217;t believe this terrible <a href=\"http:\/\/valleywag.com\/tech\/cubicle-culture\/oh-happy-day-255531.php\">&#8220;Oh Happy Day&#8221; recruiting video from Ernst &#038; Young<\/a>. It was probably part of their sign-on bonuses to appear in the video.
