The best part about Carnevale this year was walking around taking pictures of everyone waiting for the parade to start. I mentioned that one of the most popular parts of the Manfredonia Carnevale in Puglia is the children’s parade, which was the prior week.<\/p>\n

But there were a lot of children out in costume waiting for the parade to begin on Sunday, and I relished walking down the wide path in the middle of the street while people lined up waiting on the sidewalks. Who says that Italians don’t know how to form a line?<\/p>\n

This dog looks all too happy to be a part of the Carnevale celebration.<\/p>\n

It was so fun to see so many children dressed up – most of them were excited to have their photo taken. I spent a lot of the time laughing (in a good way) at the costumes, expressions, and general behavior of the children. It was really hard to narrow down the photos since I took so many.
