Who can remember the first time they were allowed to eat chocolate for breakfast? <\/strong><\/p>\n

\nNutella<\/strong> is more than just a “chocolaty hazelnut spread<\/em>,” it is a way of life<\/strong>. From childhood memories to oozing hot crepes, from breakfasts on vacation, to free-spooning sessions on the couch, Nutella<\/strong> is present in the memories of many of the children and grown-up children in the world. <\/p>\n

\nAnd it doesn’t have its own holiday.<\/p>\n

\nWe’re about to change that.<\/p>\n

\nSara from Ms. Adventures in Italy and Shelley from At Home in Rome<\/a> solemnly declare February 6th “World Nutella Day”<\/strong> – a day to celebrate, to get creative with, and most importantly, to EAT Nutella<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nHow to participate:<\/strong>
\n<\/p>\n

  1. Make a recipe using Nutella<\/strong>. Eat Nutella<\/strong> with a spoon. A big one. Make art with Nutella<\/strong>. Wax poetic about Nutella<\/strong>. Cuddle with Nutella<\/strong>. Re-live your first experience eating Nutella<\/strong>. Offer Nutella<\/strong> as a sacrifice. Tell us your favorite hack involving those Nutella<\/strong> glasses. Have a Nutella<\/strong>-eating contest or a Nutella<\/strong> party! <\/li>\n
  2. Take pictures, upload a video, and blog about it from now until February 6th, 2007. <\/li>\n
  3. Email nutelladay<\/strong> [at] nutelladay<\/strong> [dot] com<\/strong>. with Subject: Nutella Day<\/em> and include your name, your site name, and your permalink\/URL by February 6th, 2007<\/strong>. You can also attach one<\/strong> 100x100pixel photo of your dish-etc. to include in the roundup. We’ll be posting the round-up on the 7th of February<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  4. On your blog, please include the Nutella Day participant button and have it point to this post or to www.nutelladay.com<\/a><\/li>\n
  5. Tag\/categorize<\/strong> your post with “Nutella Day<\/strong>.”<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
