For those that aren&#8217;t, there&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=5GYlGir8Dso\">this hilarious commercial<\/a> (I think this is how S sees me)<\/li>\n<li>If you still have warm &amp; fuzzies about Bob Saget from Full House, you need to see him in a different light &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=5I0U4P9Imis\">Chilling with Bob Saget rap video<br \/>\n<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Last but not least, a funny ad that explains <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photo_zoom.gne?id=167865447&amp;size=o\">why Marilyn Monroe&#8217;s skirt blew up<\/a> (this is for you, Sante)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If I hear this one more time&#8230;.Fai il tifo per&#8230;.? (Who are you rooting for?)<\/p>\n<p>This weekend, arguably one of the most interesting games of all the <a href=\"http:\/\/fifaworldcup.yahoo.com\/\">World Cup<\/a> in Germany, is the Italy vs. the United States game this Saturday evening. Don&#8217;t know anything about the teams? Check them out here: <a href=\"http:\/\/fifaworldcup.yahoo.com\/06\/en\/w\/team\/overview.html?team=ita\">Italy <\/a>and <a href=\"http:\/\/fifaworldcup.yahoo.com\/06\/en\/w\/team\/overview.html?team=usa\">USA<\/a>. There is a lot of excitement here in Italy, and of course with so much attention, there&#8217;s bound to be some radical comments and viewpoints with everyone getting excited.<\/p>\n<p>An <a href=\"http:\/\/ussoccerplayers.com\/players\/eddie_johnson\/\">American<\/a> player started it all with: &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sportsline.com\/worldcup\/story\/9508433\">We&#8217;re here for a war<\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>And of course, an Italian player replied: &#8220;We&#8217;re going to win for our troops in Nasiriyah.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Very confusing&#8230;I thought the war was in Iraq and they are allies? Seriously, this is the last place you need to start talking about that &#8211; sure, dedicate your efforts and (hopefully) wins to the troops, but keep the Olympic-games-we&#8217;re-all-here-for-a-good-time feeling, no?<\/p>\n<p>Of course several PR exchanges smoothed it over after that, but you know tension is high. Part of me wants the USA to win because I can&#8217;t wait to hear the outrage and disbelief afterward. But it&#8217;s not likely. In fact, the USA is 0-5 against Italy, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/sports\/soccer\/worldcup\/2006-06-16-usa-italy-breakdown_x.htm\">odds are stacked high against the US team<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>S&#8217;s favorite player, and he&#8217;s a cutie if I do say so myself, is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.francescototti.com\/\">Francesco Totti<\/a>, who plays for Rome. He&#8217;s dumb as a sack of rocks &#8211; which is why he has his own set of books &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tgcom.mediaset.it\/spettacolo\/articoli\/articolo129378.shtml\">Barzellette su Totti<\/a>&#8221; which are basically copies of those &#8220;dumb blonde&#8221; or &#8220;dumb ___&#8221; jokes, but the boy&#8217;s heart beats for Rome and they love him for it. He was injured earlier, so hopefully his game is back in top form.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re not that interested in the game, that&#8217;s understandable. I played soccer for 8 years myself and I like watching a team when I have some interest in them, and of course, live is best.<br \/>\nBut just to leave you with something to do &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.repubblica.it\">La Repubblica<\/a> always seems to have some &#8220;eye candy&#8221; to entertain visitors to the website &#8211; this time it&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.repubblica.it\/flash\/gallerie\/2006\/bikini\/index.html\">Bikinis of the World Cup<\/a>. Very classy. I saw a few Statue of Libertys in there.<\/p>\n<p>Go blue.
