All her <a href=\"http:\/\/katieparla.com\/category\/rome-lazio\/\">Rome archives<\/a>.\n<ul>\n<li>Katie also has an app, Rome for Foodies (<a href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/katie-parlas-rome\/id475306005?mt=8\">iPhone<\/a>\u00a0and <a href=\"http:\/\/market.android.com\/details?id=com.parla.Rome_foodie\">Android<\/a>),\u00a0which has some great suggestions and doesn&#8217;t need an internet connection to work.<\/li>\n<li>Katie does tours!\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/katieparla.com\/rome-walking-tours\/\">culinary, archeological, and art historical itineraries, as well as wine and beer tastings<\/a>, too.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vinoroma.com\">Vino Roma<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; wine tasting &amp; tours &#8211;\u00a0\u00a0I wrote about a <a title=\"Franciacorta Aperitivo at Vinoroma in Rome\" href=\"https:\/\/www.msadventuresinitaly.com\/blog\/2011\/06\/30\/franciacorta-aperitivo-at-vinoroma-in-rome\/\">wonderful franciacorta aperitivo<\/a>\u00a0there.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.elizabethminchilliinrome.com\/\">Elizabeth Minchilli<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; her <a href=\"http:\/\/www.elizabethminchilliinrome.com\/restaurants\/rome-restaurants\/\">Rome restaurants<\/a>\u00a0archives. She also has an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.elizabethminchilliinrome.com\/apps-rome-venice-florence\/\">app for Rome<\/a> as well as other cities, and she does <a href=\"http:\/\/www.elizabethminchilliinrome.com\/food-tours\/\">food tours<\/a>, too.<\/li>\n<li>Eleonora&#8217;s <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.aglioolioepeperoncino.com\/\">Aglio, Olio e Peperonicino<\/a><\/strong> has lots of information about Rome &amp; a page about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aglioolioepeperoncino.com\/p\/blog-page.html\">Where to eat in Rome<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.theamericanmag.com\/\">The American<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; lots of focus on living in Italy, but also information about food &amp; events, too, especially <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theamericanmag.com\/article.php?feature=food&amp;column=89\">In Cucina<\/a>\u00a0(which Eleonora contributes to frequently).<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.breakfast-reviews.net\/\">The Breakfast Review<\/a><\/strong> is a review of a lot of places to get breakfast, by Italians, in Italian.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To get around Rome:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.muoversiaroma.it\/\"><strong>Muoversi a Roma<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; in Italian. There&#8217;s also an app for <a href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/app\/id820255342\">iPhone<\/a>\u00a0and <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.realtech.romamobilita\">Android<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\">Google Maps<\/a><\/strong> also gives good transit options (beware of roaming data charges).<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.carsharing.roma.it\">CarSharing<\/a><\/strong> in Rome.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Staying in Rome:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Katie has a list of <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.parlafood.com\/where-to-stay-rome-hotel-apartment\/\">Where to Stay in Rome<\/a><\/strong> on Parla Food.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.the-beehive.com\"><strong>The Beehive<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; a luxury hostel near the main train station.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cross-pollinate.com\"><strong>Cross Pollinate<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; a network of rentable apartments in Rome; highly recommended for small groups (4+ people) traveling together &#8211; you can get an entire apartment to yourselves.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.airbnb.com\/s\/rome\"><strong>Airbnb in Rome<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; stay in a shared room, private room, or an entire apartment\/house rented directly to you by the owners.
