As advertised in the waiting area of the mens’ dressing rooms: “Lazy Husbands? Dress them Yourselves!”
The Smallest Car in the World?
Perhaps you did what everyone did the first time they saw a Smart Car: “Oh my god! It’s so small!” Here’s another car for you that is definitely smaller, and very bright. The smallest? Only time will tell.
Lega Nord’s Striking Advertisment
Italian Elections are this weekend, and the Lega Nord party (no link here, Google it), a pro-Northern Italy and con-Southern Italy and con-immigrants contributes this little ditty: “They underwent/suffered immigration….now they live on the reservations.”
We have talked about this at work from an advertising point of view, and it is definitely effective: everyone is talking about it. As for the message itself, it’s not working with me.

I know what you mean! My first reaction when I saw those posters was laughter. I really thought it was a joke. I hope people don’t believe that bs.
Doesn’t work with me either, but then nothing from Lega Nord really would–except in the sense that I would rather enjoy the South cutting the North loose and letting those northerners (no offense intended b/c I know you’re tied to Puglia!) fend for themselves ;)
I saw this poster and first laughed then shook my head at the ignorance and inflammatory nature of it. Having lived in a state with 21 Native American tribes this rubs me the wrong way. I’m with Sognatrice…the South should cut ‘em loose and see how well they fend without miles of wheat fields and olive groves to feed them up there! Shocking the success of LegaNord and even FN around here.
