Back in 2002, I did a half-marathon in San Francisco, the first one that crossed the Golden Gate Bridge, and it was an amazing experience. I never thought I’d be a runner, but there’s something I love about that “runner’s high” that I got from doing outdoor runs in California. I’m looking for other similar opportunities in Italy. I will probably never do a marathon, but a half-marathon and a few smaller races will be good goals.
