I lived there for a short time and one of my favourite things about the country were the 'knock-off' drinks as we'd call them in Australia. My regular was the Campari Spritz, although I really enjoy Negronis. Just before I left, a friend introduced me to an artichoke liquour, I think called Cynar (correct me if I'm wrong). It was more bitter than Campari. It too is great in a Spritz. I miss Italy.
