Heard so much about crappy, dreadful, horror stuff of a bureaucratic tale befelling to Stranieri in Italy.

Thanks for sharing yours, it’s unbelievable really coming from a super efficient place like us here in Australia – “they say it’ll take 2 weeks, 1 week later voilą
is not uncommon for us. Hehe, I guess I’ll wait my turn.

By the way, is permesso di soggiorno for non-EU students as hard to get as well ?

But I have to admit I'm not surprised. It reminds me of a time when I was a little girl and we had gone to visit family in Italy. My father went to the bank to cash traveller's cheques. He returned four hours later not having cashed the cheques. Apparently lines don't exist in Italy so my father never made it to a teller! We laught about it now, but it was pretty frustrating then!
